Editor's Review

Food Depot in Marietta, Georgia, has garnered a mixed bag of reviews from its patrons, revealing a store that excels in certain areas while struggling in others. Many customers praise the affordability and selection of meat products, with Robert Bledsoe noting that he found "excellent meat values" and was pleasantly surprised by the low prices on dairy items like eggs and butter. The inviting atmosphere of the store is also highlighted, as Michelle Eddington mentioned the friendly staff and the charming presence of ducks outside, which adds a bit of local charm to the shopping experience.

However, not all experiences have been positive. A few customers have expressed serious concerns about the quality and cleanliness of the products, with one reviewer, E, claiming to find expired food on the shelves, including eggs with brown stains. Another reviewer, B Poole, had an unpleasant encounter and felt a lack of inclusivity, which left a negative impression. This duality of shopper experience paints a picture of a store that, while offering good deals on some items, may need to improve its quality control and customer service.

Best for: Budget-conscious shoppers looking for good deals on meat and dairy.

I found excellent meat values here. I went only to find a family package of pork steaks but found great bargains on all pork products including sausages I like, chicken and turkey. I even saw very good prices for their beef items. I was surprised to ...

I’m honestly just going to continue to be a Walmart shopper. Most of this store food is ALREADY expired. Eggs marked down to 2.50 but has brown stains on the eggs? The only thing I buy from here is pork chops, going to stop buying that from here too....
