About this policy
Salvage Grocery Stores aggregates publicly-available business listings and editorial commentary about retail promotions, including weekly chain-store advertisements. Where we feature snippets of chain-store flyer imagery, we crop and attribute that imagery as transformative editorial commentary intended to drive traffic to the original retailer's site. Every featured deal is accompanied by clear attribution and an outbound link back to the chain's official website.
We respect intellectual property rights. If you are a rights holder and believe content on this site infringes your copyright, please file a takedown request using the procedure below.
How to file a DMCA takedown notice
Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. ยง 512(c)), a valid takedown notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or an authorized agent).
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (the title, registration number if applicable, or a description sufficient to identify it).
- The exact URL(s) on Salvage Grocery Stores where the allegedly infringing material is located.
- Your contact information: full name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

Our response timeline
We aim to respond to valid takedown notices within 24 hours of receipt, including removal or disabling of the identified material pending further review. We will notify the original uploader (if any) and provide them an opportunity to file a counter-notice as described below.
Counter-notice procedure
If you believe content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(g). A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which the service provider may be found).

Repeat-infringer policy
Per 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(i), we maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
False claims
Under 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents either that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages including costs and attorneys' fees. Please do not make false claims.
