Editor's Review
Grocery Outlet in San Francisco has carved out a niche for itself as a go-to spot for shoppers seeking organic produce and unique deals. Many customers appreciate the store's ever-changing inventory, with new items rolling in every Tuesday, which creates an element of surprise each time they visit. As D J eloquently puts it, shopping here feels like 'a scavenger hunt but without knowing what to look for.' This sense of discovery is a strong draw for regulars, making it one of their favorite grocery stores.
However, this beloved store isn't without its criticisms. While the prices are often celebrated, the selection can be hit or miss, as Ryoichi Yoneda pointed out. He mentioned that while the prices are good, the selection isn't always great for more specific needs. Plus, the parking situation has raised complaints, with many reviewers noting the tight parking lot as a downside. AJ Snyder highlighted this when saying, 'Along with lots of bargains, it also has a small parking lot - a huge win when you go wild and buy a gigantic cart full!'
What stands out the most is the family-owned aspect of Grocery Outlet, a feature that resonates with many shoppers. Established in 1992, this local gem embodies a community spirit that larger chains often lack. Still, customer service has been a troubling area for some, as illustrated by Paul Lombardi's unfortunate experience, where he felt employees were unhelpful. Overall, Grocery Outlet shines in its pricing and unique offerings, but customers should be prepared for some inconsistencies in product availability and service.

The employees at this location treat customers terribly. I'm an amputee as a consequence of contracting covid in 2020. Whenever I ask for help, the employees grimace & are obviously unhappy to give me a hand. I don't recommend spending money here...
Good outlet for all your food needs. Wine & beer selection is good. Check out the cheese. Parking lot can be tight.
