Editor's Review

With an overall rating of 4.3 out of 5 based on 712 reviews, Grocery Outlet in Milpitas, CA, stands out as a popular choice for budget-conscious shoppers. Customers frequently praise the store's cleanliness and wide aisles, with one reviewer, Prasad B., stating that 'this is the biggest GO store I have been to in the Bay Area.' The store's family-owned history since 1992 adds a personal touch that many shoppers appreciate.

Reviewers often highlight the unbeatable prices on popular items. For example, Bo P. noted a significant price difference for Häagen-Dazs bars, stating they were $4.99 at Grocery Outlet compared to $8.99 at a nearby Walmart. This price competitiveness positions Grocery Outlet as a viable alternative to larger chains, encouraging loyal patronage.

However, some recurring complaints focus on the limited selection in the produce section and the variability of stock. George DeCarlo mentioned a mix of good choices and items that necessitate comparison shopping at other stores. Emily Han echoed similar sentiments about the produce being somewhat limited, which could deter shoppers looking for a more extensive grocery experience.

Best for: Budget-conscious shoppers looking for quality groceries at lower prices.

4.5 would be more accurate. This is the biggest GO store I have been to in the bay area. Very clean and wide aisles. They seem to have a wide selection of items. The produce section is a bit limited. Their prices are fair for the neighborhood.
