Editor's Review
Grocery Outlet in Brooklyn, OH, stands out as a quirky yet beloved discount grocery store. Shoppers come here not just for groceries, but also for the thrill of unearthing unexpected deals. For instance, as Brian brilliantly noted, there are 'fantastic deals,' like a box of six cereal bars for just 33 cents, which makes regular visits worthwhile. Shoppers can find overstocked items just past their "best by" dates at surprisingly low prices. However, caution is advised when it comes to certain items, like the infamous $5 turkey that Missy Browning warned about, labeling it as 'barely having any meat at all.' It’s clear that while the prices can be enticing, some products might not live up to expectations.
Yet, it's not just the prices that draw customers in. Many folks, like Jamie Livingston, genuinely enjoy the variety, stating, 'Honestly, love this place! Great deals. Huge variety.' But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. There’s been a noticeable dip in staff morale, with Jasci Dempsey mentioning that 'usually I enjoy grocery outlet,' but recently the workers seem 'unhappy and unstable.' This inconsistency in service can leave a sour taste, even amidst the good deals.

Two out of three times that I've been here I've had to get a manager to give me a refund after I paid because I was overcharged for an item. Both times they tried to blame it on me instead of owning it. Both managers were really rude about the refund...
The prices are pretty good for most things, but not Aldi good. There are some fantastic deals (box of 6 cereal bars for 33¢) if you check often. View this place as a decent discount grocery store that sometimes has very good deals on overstocked item...
They do have a lot of good deals on things but DO NOT get the $5 turkey! I unfortunately did and it was a 15.5lb. turkey it was so skinny it barely had any meat at all I've never seen a turkey like that! It must've came from one of those turkey farms...
Honestly, love this place! Great deals. Huge variety. Never know what you'll find inside though. I come here once a month for essentials and great pricing.
Usually I enjoy grocery outlet but as of lately the workers all seem unhappy and unstable. Which is weird because around a few months ago everyone was so happy and willing to help. I don't know what changed but I think whatever it is should be fixed ...
