Editor's Review
Grocery Warehouse in Stanley, North Carolina, has carved out a niche as a go-to spot for bargain hunters looking to stretch their dollars. Customers rave about the thrill of finding unique items with each visit, as inventory changes frequently. As Cindy Trobaugh enthusiastically stated, 'Fun place to find bargains. Inventory changes with each visit.' This consistent turnover can make each shopping trip feel like a treasure hunt, a refreshing break from the monotony of traditional grocery shopping.
However, the store isnβt without its criticisms. A common thread among reviews is the fluctuating prices. For instance, Alice Huff remarked that prices have been 'getting higher and higher,' suggesting that what once seemed like a good deal now often rivals retail prices found elsewhere. Chuck Elmore also pointed out that some prices closely match those of bigger retailers, advising shoppers to 'check the price vs. retail.' This discrepancy can create a sense of disappointment for those who expected more significant savings. Some customers like Cheryl Huckabee expressed frustration with the pricing, stating simply, 'I would not recommend it myself.' Such sentiments highlight a growing concern about the store's value proposition.
On a positive note, many people appreciate the cash-only policy, which often speeds up transactions for those who prefer to avoid credit card processing. While some found unexpected fees, like King TitanMan KTM5βs experience with an extra $10 charge, the allure of discovering bargains remains strong. Still, itβs clear that customer experiences at Grocery Warehouse can vary widely, making it essential for shoppers to approach with a discerning eye and an understanding of the current pricing trends.

You can find good deals here but be sure to check the price vs. retail. I found some prices the same as or close retail.
Good prices when first opened, but over time the prices have gotten higher and higher. Found some of their prices higher than if purchased at places like Walmart. Don't go there nearly as often or purchase as much.
Wasn't impressed. They had a variety of things but I found that their prices of some of those things are higher than what you would buy it for in the store. I was told bout the store from someone but I would not recommend it myself.
Got good deals but didn't understand extra 10 dollar's added to my bill. Not impressed after that. Haven't been back
