Editor's Review
Sing-On Supermarket in Houston, Texas, stands out as a beloved neighborhood grocery store and meat market, drawing a loyal crowd for its hot meals, unique boudain, and the ever-popular stuffed chicken breast. As Irene Taylor enthusiastically stated, this place is appreciated for its awesome service, making it a go-to spot for locals looking for a quick bite or essential groceries. The store's vibrant atmosphere reflects the community it serves, evidenced by reviews that highlight the friendly and welcoming nature of many employees. However, not every experience has been positive.
Recurring complaints focus on the meat counter, particularly involving one older gentleman who has garnered multiple mentions for his poor customer service. Mrs. D and Jason Howard both voiced their frustrations about his rudeness, with Mrs. D calling attention to a health concern when he failed to change his gloves. Such feedback suggests that the customer service in this area can sometimes fall short of expectations, casting a shadow over the otherwise positive experience many shoppers seem to have. While complaints exist, the store still maintains an overall rating of 4.2/5 from over 1,500 reviews, indicating a generally favorable perception.
