Editor's Review

County Road Surplus in Versailles, MO, has carved out a niche as a go-to spot for those seeking unique closeout deals and home goods at discounted prices. Family-owned since 1992, this place offers a warm, welcoming vibe that many reviewers appreciate. Customer Lakhbir Singh mentions, "Very nice people," highlighting the friendly service that seems to be a constant at this facility. The Saturday bin extravaganza is a standout feature, attracting shoppers eager to sift through new, name brand items that are unpacked daily. Mark T. scored a pair of felt sole wader boots that saved him around $80, showcasing the potential for significant savings.

However, not every experience is perfect. Some visitors, like Christine Sandidge, pointed out that the inventory can lean heavily towards Amazon overstock items, leading to a "buyer beware" environment. A bit of tidiness could go a long way, especially with the remark about "ravaged boxes on the tables." Jim Walker's feedback indicated that while the location itself is pleasant, he left empty-handed, suggesting that the selection may not always dazzle.

Best for: Bargain hunters looking for unique home goods and décor.
